The Cereal Sketchers offer friendly, accessible drawing opportunities across Abergavenny and the surrounding area — for absolute beginners, curious hobbyists and experienced makers alike. We believe everyone can draw, and that the best results come from play, encouragement and shared time with others.
Inclusive and welcoming: our sessions are designed to be non-judgemental and encouraging. We celebrate process over perfection. EVERYONE is welcome.
Multigenerational community: since 2023 we’ve grown into a diverse group of friendly creatives who share skills, inspiration and kindness.
Practical, enjoyable learning: exercises and formats are designed to be fun, fast and effective — you’ll leave each session with fresh ideas and actually want to keep drawing.

Evening Sessions
Friday nights at the Melville Arts Centre, Abergavenny. A fun, playful session of timed drawing exercises at the bar with a great playlist. Includes Film Nights, Life drawing and games to improve your drawing skills.

Kids' Club
Hosted at Pawb Arts in Abergavenny on Saturday Mornings. We will be working on a theme over 6 weeks to develop children’s skills and confidence and their ability to express themselves.
